Paper Lamps

Materials: Bristol board + Acrylic + Gold leaf + Walnut
These lamps were the culmination of a project I delivered for a Sculpture elective in 2016. During that time I was closely following the work of incredible lighting designers such as Lindsey Adelman, Bec Brittain, and Rosie Li and felt compelled to design a piece of lighting of my own. I used a laser cutter to cut these lamps from sheets of Bristol board. Each was then folded and assembled into their final form by gluing up the laser cut tabs placed on their interior.
